Band Leader, Vocalist, Lyricist and Composer
Lexa Wilding
Lexa travelled extensively, performing with serval bands though the UK and Europe. Lexa played in busy cover bands, frequently doing 2 or 3 gigs in a night through the ski seasons. She also played in serval mountain town festivals like (early incarnations of) ChamJam and The Snow Ball. After returning to Scotland Lexa developed a successful hospitality business that eventually allowed her to refocus her attentions back to her music career. In 2024 Lexa returned to education to attend music collage as a way of gaining the musical experience missed during her years setting up the hospitality business. As well as a talented and engaging performer and outstanding vocalist Lexa is a strong song writer and composer, has a good working understanding of musical production and engineering and live production. Lexa is also an exceptional business woman. Her hospitality business is an industry leader and the skills and knowledge she gained are now utilised in the development and running of W.I.C. Lexa plans on completing a BAhons in Popular Music at UHI Perth alongside the band.

Bassist, Backing Vocals and Composer
Ciaran
Being gifted an historic Fender Precision by his dad at the age of 14 was the turning point.
Ever since, the dream of playing real music on big stages was a high that couldn’t be topped.
Through multiple iterations and genres Ciarán has chased that dream over his musical career. His first steps were as teenage roadie for his dad, but his first band was actually as a frontman (don’t come for me bassists) for Thrift, he then started writing for himself before moving to Brighton…
Studying at Brighton Institute of Modern Music he met a band wanting to shout their name from the rafters, Screama Ballerina, taking the south coast by storm and playing everywhere from small pubs and churches to opening the main stage at rebellion festival for The Buzzcocks!…
After moving to Inverness, a chance post led him to meet Lexa and With In Control, one practise was all it took, he was in!
Big music, big choruses and big stages await.
